Shocking moment teenager stabbed in ‘violent and sustained’ attack outside Hayes pub

This is the shocking moment a teenager was stabbed twice outside a west London pub in a “violent and sustained” attack.

The 18-year-old victim was left fighting for his life in hospital following the attack in Hayes shortly after 10.30pm on Friday 8 September.

Police have released CCTV footage of the incident as they continue to hunt both attackers.

The footage shows the victim stood outside the Music Box on Bourne Avenue when two hooded males walk past him.

One suddenly turns round and launches a series of punches, before the other man runs to join him.

Together they repeatedly assault the teenager before fleeing. Another man can be seen watching the incident unfold from behind a wall.

The victim was left with a wound to his back which punctured his kidney, liver, major artery and lung. Another wound to his upper right arm went as deep as the bone, police said.

He remains in hospital in a “serious” condition five days after the attack.

DC Emma Brookes, from Hillingdon CID, said: “We are keen to identify the men in the CCTV footage who appear to attack the victim in a violent and sustained attack. We would also urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.”

Police described the first suspect as a man wearing light-coloured trousers and a grey hooded top.

The second suspect was said to be a white man with short dark hair wearing dark-coloured trousers and a darker top.

No arrests have been made yet.
