Police have released images of a woman they’d like to speak to after a man was racially abused on a tram.
Officers said a woman traveling on the Manchester to Bury Metrolink line got into an argument with a man at around 6pm on Tuesday, May 30. During the argument, the woman racially abused the man, before getting off at Abraham Moss station.Police are investigating and have released images of a woman they wish to trace in connection with the incident.
Det Con Dave Gager of GMP’s City of Manchester Team said: “Racial abuse has no place in our city and we are absolutely dedicated to investigating this thoroughly.
“We are keen to speak to the woman in the images in connection with this incident and I would urge anyone who knows her to get in touch.
